BOBBI BROWN MOISTURE RICH FOUNDATION REVIEW

Hi everyone!
After my experience with the Chanel Mat Lumière, I wanted a foundation that would restore the moisture in my skin. As the name sounded like everything I was looking for, I purchased the Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation.
From the Bobbi Brown Website:
Bobbi’s popular moisturizing formula provides SPF 15 sun protection while it hydrates skin and delivers a soft, beautiful finish. The formula is buildable, allowing medium to full coverage as desired. For Normal to Dry skin types.
I am happy to say that after several days of keeping up my healthy skincare routine and using this foundation in place of the Chanel Mat Lumière, my skin returned to its normal state, no longer feeling dry as often!

The Moisture Rich Foundation comes in 19 shades, which is more than most brands offer. One of my favourite things about the foundation is how well my shade, Natural (4), matches and blends into my skin tone. I also love the texture, which is silky and lightweight; giving the skin a smooth finish after applied.
Though I love how this foundation feels, staying true to its promise to hydrate your skin, when additional coats are applied it appears shiny easily. Fortunately, this shine wears off quickly so that your skin does not look or feel oily. The coverage is more sheer than I expected, and I would describe the coverage as light to medium rather than medium to full. It was also not as long-lasting as I expected, which is why I will need to use powder to set it and keep it in place - something I do not normally need to do with foundations.

Noticeably shiny appearance after applying; fortunately it does not last long.
Overall, I like Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation most for its hydrating ability (with SPF15 for sun protection), well chosen shades, and lovely smooth texture. I’m also thankful it corrected the texture of my skin after my previous foundation dried it out as a result of me using a mattifying formula on combination-but-more-dry skin, restoring my skin’s moisture. Even though it is a moisturising foundation, it hasn’t worsened the state of my oily areas, so at the moment, my skin is well balanced! I would recommend this foundation most to those who have normal to dry skin, and are looking for light to medium coverage that doesn’t feel heavy at all. To help it last longer, I would also say that the use of primer and powder with this foundation is particularly important!
